Proud as punch
Happy little fish
A breakthrough! Today at swimming we happily took ourselves over to the edge of the pool after our clothes were off and sat down, chatting with Katherine and waiting to put our bubbles on. Woo hoo!Beatrix turned around and saw how proud mum and dad were.Beatrix and Dad Here is Bea writing Montana's birthday card

Mr Buzzy
Mr Buzzy was one of our favourite toys when we were bubs, so we were delighted when we found 3 bees together! This is just before we consumed a quick $30 worth of sushi, leaving nothing for mum or nanna. We amazed Caroline and baby Sophie. That'll teach mum for carrying so little cash that she didn't have enough to shout us a second ride on Mr Buzzy! 19 August 2011.

Seeing double and triple
Today we got to meet Addie (L) and Bella (R) Kavanagh! We loved looking at them, putting their blankets on after they kicked them off, and giving them their dummies after they spat them out. Thanks for travelling all the way from HK! Lily in the beautiful chongsam from Jen! She calls it her "superdress" and it has become an immediate favouite (as future posts will show). 14 August 2011.
Diesels
Our first trip to the movies to see Day of the Diesels with Dad. We had great movie food - scroggin, squeezy yoghurts, mandarins and croissants. Harper spent half the movie using the aisle light to choose things out of her scroggin bag! 13 August 2011. After movie walk in the park. Dad and Beatrix.

Newtown
We met the Smarts in Newtown today to see Clyth's new show. The girls were very impressed with the paintings of diggers, but even more so with the little dogs in residence in the lower gallery. Finding religion
With nary a clean vessel in the house, Mum poured soda water into a wine glass instead:

Lin Onus - respect
At the AGNSW with Naneta and Gwen we tagged onto the end of a schools tour (encouraged by the lovely Emily) , taken by a gruff but friendly bat in the style of one of my favourite artists, Lin Onus (scuplture behind).
