The house next door to us caught fire today. Our neighbour Issa came to tell us, and then we had to tell Suzanne and Grant (who were closer than us). There were 3 fire engines and lots of police, and the smoke was everywhere! We stayed inside with the windows locked and the doors - except for the 3 times the police came to knock on the door to say "keep your doors shut". Duh! It even made the paper.
