Portrait gallery

Lily What are we going to do today?

Gran We are going to drive for a little bit and then go to the national portrait gallery

Lily To see what?

Gran A picture of Paul Keating and maybe the Queen

Mum *quietly* And we can throw eggs at it

Harper Maybe there will be a picture of a queen with a hole in her tummy and we can throw balls through it
The girls peruse the map - the guide gave them 5 things to look for: a green man with little people crawling on him, a family with a boy wearing a dress, Simpson and his donkey and a lady with a fan and a flying banana
and they did it!

A bit tired

Such a big day at Questacon, and then our picnic was sleeted out! Lovely afternoon and dinner at John and Leo's and then back to the hotel to.....snore!
